Day VIII (July 13, 2009)

This morning, we woke up a little later than usual - but just in time to catch BART and stumble back into San Francisco. For John and Eric - weary travelers by now - it was a novelty to see the same city twice. But San Francisco was worth it.

Our goal today was Fisherman's Wharf and beyond. John went to work plotting our course and we fully utilized San Francisco's public transportation. From the back of BART, MUNI (like, above ground trains), buses and beyond we saw a new side of the city.

Fisherman's Wharf was our first stop, we wandered around, saw sights and took pictures.

After, we traveled to Golden Gate Park. We got a great view of the bridge and an even better view of the park. It is a beautiful break from the urban setting of San Francisco.

We used the beautiful view to catch up on some much needed shut-eye.

Napping... in style...

Tired and having seen our second full day of SanFran, the three of us headed back to Berkeley for a cheap dinner at a New York style pizza place and an early night. Tomorrow we're headed a bit more North for a bit more adventure.
